A co-production of the Radu Stanca National Theatre from Sibiu and Théâtre National de la Communauté Française de Belgique, in collaboration with Odéon-Théâtre de l'Europe and Le Festival d'Avignon 2014.

"Every scene in the show is fiction inspired from reality or from a certain type of public speech used in the present-day Romanian society: starting with the wall built in Baia Mare in order to cut off the Roma community from the main road of the city to labeling differences between social categories, ethnic groups, generations in a manner that is ever more radical. On the pretext of observing social conventions and saving the citizens, new rules are being drawn up; rules that are meant to stigmatize difference and obliterate everything that could bring us together. Apart from radicalizing public speech on poverty – seen as a guilt of those unable to be efficient – this approach has contaminated public space and we run the risk of it becoming a normal, just, perfectly legitimate perspective."  (Gianina Cărbunariu)
