We’ve planned an entire day of events dedicated to art as social and political action and to the female protagonists of this battle field, based on the films included in the section Art in Action.
Each screening will be followed by a discussion with authors and artists who work in the field of poetry, theater, visual arts, performance and music, as a means of creating a context for a collective reflection on the on-screen protagonists’ experiences. At noon, before the screenings, we’ll talk to a series of female writers who have made a name for themselves for approaching contemporary subject matters in the most surprising and direct manners. At the end of the day you are invited to a small concert by Ada Milea and for a glass of wine.
