Since 2009 the One World Romania Association has grown every year. From the very beginning we wanted to bring as many events as possible to the attention of the Romanian spectators and to thus develop documentary film culture, on the one hand, but also to raise awareness about human rights issues. In order to be able to develop and support all these projects financially, we need you - the members of a small community we feel we have created in the spirit of One World over the last 14 years. In order to broaden the audience and provide them with important films and debates in various ways, we created - after several editions of the One World Romania festival: the alternative distribution program - KineDok, the Civil Society Pitch documentary film development workshop or the program for rediscovering archive documentaries through the Sahia Vintage project. We don't stop here and plan to launch new projects soon.

Throughout the year we will be organising workshops for film professionals, non-governmental organisations, students and the general public. Through these workshops we offer meetings with personalities from all over the world and try to discover with them new ways of storytelling or new visions on contemporary issues.

We have also been organising replicas of the festival in Bucharest in several cities in Romania for many years, in order to promote human rights discourse in as many communities outside the capital as possible.
