Kurdish director Diako Yazdani, having emigrated to Europe, returns home and asks Kojin, a young man who is open with his sexuality in a society ready to execute him for it, to be the protagonist of a film they would make together. During one-to-one meetings or group discussions, for example with the director’s family, with a priest, with several friends or with a group of conservative men, Kojin reiterates, patiently and in good humour, answers to various — often absurd — questions and ideas that are either funny or disturbing within a very short time. Through this film the protagonist, whose show of courage in some scenes may seem frightening, becomes a guide on a brief tour of the world he inhabits, which he is desperately trying to understand and to not cast off completely, even though its parameters are so unforgiving and inflexible.
