Three triplets separated at birth learn, completely by chance, of each other’s existence when they are teenagers. Their reunion is very warmly received by the entire country and begins to spark numerous questions, first of all from the adoptive parents, as to the reason why the three brothers had been put up for adoption separately and why their existence had been withheld from the families they had ended up in. Each of the three brothers sees the meeting as a miracle, amazed by the striking — and not just physical — resemblances between their biological doubles.
