Annie has managed to move to Finland with her family after several years of living in a refugee camp in Congo. In a first aid class she meets a teacher, Sinikka, who has lived all her life in peace and safety. Annie can get bandages and gauzes from Sinikka, but Annie herself has to learn how to survive in her new life with them. Finnish Red Cross, Häme District started organizing first aid classes to refugees who arrived to Finland so they could learn more skills to cope with everyday life in a whole new world. For the first time in their lives, people who have seen wars, violence, death and refugee camps learn how to bind a wound or help a choking child. A short documentary about the importance of help, touch and encounters.
