After her success with Beirut: The Last Home Movie (1987) and the 10-hour series, An American Love Story (1999), American documentarian Jennifer Fox puts herself in front of the camera and films her day to day life in a series of six episodes, focusing on common and recognizable problems and dilemmas, but solely from the perspective of the single career woman, with a freedom that she wants to keep, but not in any way. Fox shapes an excellent portrait of the modern women, stopping in the first episode on the uncertainties and shortcomings of relationships with men and the issue of motherhood.
