William Kunstler, “the most beloved and most hated lawyer in America”, as he was named by New York Times, was the defender of the activist group against the war in Vietnam, known as the Chicago 8, and Native Americans’ in the conflict of Wounded Knee, or negotiator for the detainees in the Attica prison riots. Seduced during their childhood by the justice-defender image, Emily and Sarah Kunstler, the two daughters of the famous lawyer, try to understand the complicated and strange path of their father, who became a lawyer for drug traffickers, criminals or terrorists.
