Glod is the hometown of 17 year old Carmen who dreams of going to Spain and who is considered to be too old for marriage, since girls aged 14 or 15 have already given birth. Dutch director Mercedes Stalenhoef was supposed to follow her and point out the windings of her life. However, it so happened that, at the time given, Sacha Baron Cohen started shooting his scandalous "Borat" in the village and Carmen's story became secondary. Her father and grandfather, who appear in the movie as a couple of suspicious characters, want to prove their innocence and, with the help of foreign lawyers, they come to face the possibility of requesting Hollywood to pay for damages.
