From the beginning to the end, documentarist Boris Mitic builds a monologue compelled of aphorisms about the effects of war and political corruption in former Yugoslavia. This is also a war, but one of words, packed with intelligence and irony into a satire of a confused society, suffocated by the madness of current politics. The Minister will have a free weekend; this is his contribution to the fight against corruption.’ This type of statement is excellently illustrated by the images that have the same stylistic features as aphorism: they’re short, decisive, personal, philosophical and they have a subversive meaning.
