In 2005, in Mexico city, Tono, who is both a breakdancer and rapper, gets picked up by the police and sentenced to 20 years in jail over a crime he did not commit. The documentary follows two young Mexican attorneys that try to release this innocent man by filming the entire judicial procedure step by step. In a system where the presumption of guilt is at the root of every indictment, where lawyers falsify their working license and court clerks selectively record court sessions and meetings, young Tono’s chances of being released are small, but not inexistent.
