At the end of the last century, over 60 states agreed to set up the International Criminal Court, a permanent court room to prosecute individuals for crimes against humanity, war crimes and genocides. For a period of three years, this documentary follows the prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo and his legal team’s attempts to bring into court people guilty of high crimes, such as the Rebel leaders of Uganda, military dictators of The Democratic Republic of Congo and the president of Sudan. There is a long and laborious journey from indictment to the actual arrest and the international community doesn’t always give a prompt reply to the requests of the International Criminal Court from Haga. Up to date, Russia, China, Iraq, Israel and the United States of America still refuse to become a part of this international organism.
