This film is the story of a war-torn country and a population searching for peace and of a complex and sorrowful culture. The directors` latest film “Je veux voir”, which was in the selection of the 2008 Cannes Festival, follows an icon of the star system, Catherine Deneuve, in the ruins of devastated South Lebanon. Their images narrate truths, memories and imaginary worlds of a bruised land - and of all bruised lands.
