In their second edition, Youth Days are part of our educational component, dedicated to teenagers and intergenerational dialogue.
The programme contains a constellation of events happening over three consecutive days: seven film showings along with Q&A sessions with the authors, organisations and teenagers that are engaged in human rights activism; fifteen non-formal workshops; a community lunch (open to the public); and a series of on-site activities, organised with the help of the almost 20 organisations involved in the NGO Fair open in the lobby of the Peasant Museum Cinema.
Here as well, we’ll continue last year’s pilot programme, a meet-up between teens and seniors, in partnership with day centers from Bucharest.
We aim to offer a learning experience, a better relationship with documentary film and socio-emotional exploration for a wide array of teenagers, brought together from both central and peripheral high schools, pupils from Bucharest and from other towns, who will meet and be able to discover one another.
The event will take place at The National Museum of the Romanian Peasant and will be co-funded by Kaufland Romania. For the first time, we encourage participants to use public transit through the "Human Rights Bus" initiative, which will run on the 282 line during the festival.
Last year, over 1100 teenagers visited us, and this year we are expecting over 1500 at the events planned with the partner organisations.
Participation is free of charge. Please register through a short form.

The White House Effect
d. Bonni Cohen, Pedro Kos, Jon Shenk / 2024 / 94 min. / Color

The screening will be followed by the launch of Vocea Verde - The Student’s Environment Podcast and a debate with its creators on climate action, held by Teach for Romania.
CALIU: Nothing else, what else can I do?
d. Simona Constantin / 2025 / 90 min. / Color

The screening will be followed by a concert by Taraful Crescut pe Muzică, part of the interdisciplinary project that includes the film, as well as a Q&A session with the director and team.
