For the past 30 years, the Italian televisions owned by Silvio Berlusconi are, most of them, a mirror of the politician’s personality and desires; the viewers are subjects of a without precedent media experiment, a mixture of politics and entertainment, with high rating. Already exported in Europe and not only, this recipe of success is exploited by media agencies, which transform normal persons into stars, or by famous paparazzi who gain money due to the stars; this is propagated by the consumers themselves who are sitting in front of the TV, dreaming to the moment when they will be also on TV.
