In addition to the festival in Bucharest, which grows from one edition to the next, the association organises various events – echoes of the festival throughout the year that aim to bring documentary films and human rights issues to the attention of audiences across the country. These echoes include OWR mini-festivals (so far several editions have been organised in Arad, Bistrița, Brașov, Călărași, Oradea, Reșița, Slobozia, Timișoara or Zalău), as well as screenings in alternative venues through the KineDok program and the CineClub series, which take place both physically and online. Starting in 2022, the association has launched "Docs at the Library", a program which identifies libraries as potential knowledge hubs accessible to the general public in the country.
