Director Geneviève Dulude-De Celles went back to her high school: the Fernand-Lefebvre high school in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. The initial impulse came from a strike the students of F.L. organized against harassment and bullying — a surprising occurrence in a small town where nothing happens most of the time. The film is structured around candid portraits occasioned by a photo project that involves the whole high school. Students are interviewed alone, separately, in a series of stylized, intimate and meditative confessionals that allow them to share their fears, their wishes, and their vision of the world as seen from a small Quebec town.
