The 15th edition of One World Film Festival is over. Let's take a look at what we did together!

Nearly 3,000 people attended the screenings of the 73 films from the 15 sections of OWR#15, Warm-up # 1 Immaculate", Warm-up # 2 I'm so sorry", but also the 26 dedicated events, such as the One World Music show case concert at Club Expirat with Mădălina Pavăl Cvintet, Sazende and Pixar Stelar, the two Kinedok debates or the discussion held on the main theme of this edition. In collaboration with DocuDays UA, we highlighted the debate regarding the responsibility of cinema in the face of the Russian invasion. The movies available online were watched by almost 700 people, and between May 13-31, OWR had over 57,000 views on Facebook and over 18,000 on Instagram.

In 2022, we brought to the festival a number of distinguished guests from the world of national and international cinema, and the 75 guests participated in over 50 movies and events.

At the screening of the film “A.I. at War'' during the Opening Gala, we had with us the French director Florent Marcie.
The documentary that won the Teenage Jury awardKrai", from The Origin of Species - How We Tell Our Histories" section, had Aleksey Lapin, Claudia Joldes and Adrian Câmpean as guests at Q&A. Along with this, in the section At home in the wild", the prize of the International Jury was awarded to the documentary Soy libre", by Laure Portier, (2021), offered with the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute.
Elisabeth Perceval and Nicolas Klotz and the experimental documentary participated with two films from the „Double Bills” section: „Wild Frontier" and „Let's Say" Revolution ", where the two directors answered questions from our audience.
Special guests were Abdallah Al Khatib, the director of the documentary "Little Palestine: The Diary of a Siege."
and Gerald Weber, deputy CEO and permanent member of Sixpackfilm, Austria. 
This year's edition also brought civil society closer: more than 20 NGOs Adopted films and supported Q&A. More than 30 NGOs participated in dedicated events and together with the  Rule of Law Programme South East Europe of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, we organized a meeting regarding developing stronger links in civil society. This encourages us to continue this type of collaboration next year, to keep the associative environment close to teh festival and to build together further in the spirit of human rights!
Climate Connect
We also supported two international campaigns, Climate Connect from DG ECHO (European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations) and Conscious Planet, ISHA Foundation.
Conscious Planet

We had over 60 supporters and cultural partners, over 25 media partners, over 50 volunteers and an enthusiastic team that worked every day of the festival from the OWR 15 hub, established this year at ARCUB - Cultural Center of Bucharest.

Thank you to everyone, starting with the public, guests, civil society and volunteers, to partners, supporters and the media, without whom OWR # 15 could not have taken place!
