In the 1990s, Aime Lema emigrated from Congo to Romania, where he eventually settled permanently. Thirty years later, two film students try to find out his story and make a film about him, about his life as a refugee in their country. The story turns out to be more complicated, however, and the two are forced to take a few steps back and reconsider their journey.
